Reviews
Very good vibes fast food restaurant in Times Square, live DJ with very crowded atmosphere. Even there’s so many people, but they proceed orders in a very fast way. Chicken is very juicy and tender, highly recommended. The wide range of souvenirs are really worth to buy too!
This location was crazy busy, lined up to the door but staff managed to keep everyone moving. You order at the counter, then wait for your name to be called. It was extremely challenging to find a place to sit but eventually found a space. Chicken was great, fries okay (but we prefer ours crispier), coleslaw good. Garlic toast and their secret sauce is excellent. Prices reasonable for NYC.
Super fresh and juicy chicken tenders. Crispy and hot fries. Cold and crunchy, not too rich Cole slaw, and buttery salty sweet Texas toast. The sauce was fabulous - probably my favourite thing there. The lemonade is perfect too. My only caveat to the experience is that the chicken is not as seasoned as I would like - there no spice or even pepper to it which kind of lets it down. But everything is cooked really well, service was good and the restaurant is fun!
1st time going to Raising Cane’s… in my opinion the food was ok, it could lower down with sodium level, but yeah, prices weren’t so bad in my opinion. The service was quick despite the bunch of people in the place. Atmosphere was nice although it would be nice if they’ve cut down the amount of people who could enter as the place was really packed. But yeah, overall it was good, just sharing my honest opinion! I really liked the toast, I’ll give you that!
Food was great, extremely busy obviously. The scramble for seating was like survival of the fittest. My advice would be to spot people finishing up and go and talk to them. Everybody is in the same boat so people are willing to hand over their space when they're done.
I had chicken tenders, fries, Texas toast and a root beer. It was all delicious. I has no complaints about the food. Texas toast is basically a very nice garlic bread.
Judt be warned, this place in not for the faint hearted. Loud, crazy and everything you should expect from Times Square.
The kids insisted we visited. They were not disappointed. Right in Times Square and likely one of the busiest stores. They certainly have a prime location. Expect a line-up. The line did go fast. It was a weekday around 2 pm and took approximately 10 minutes to get to the front. We ordered Chicken Sandwich Combos and a 6-piece combo, which comes with crinkle fries, coleslaw, and garlic bread. You are able to double up on garlic bread and also ask for extra Canes sauce. All at a cost, of course. Thankfully, we were a party of 4 and were able to secure seats. This was not easy as it is VERY busy. Also, the area where they call you when your order is ready is hectic. Alot of people standing around, and it is hard to hear when your order is called. Overall, the food was good, but I don't think that I will be lining up to try this again.
Ah, Raising Cane's in New York City. The Big Apple's newest culinary craze, and for good reason. Forget your greasy, mass-produced chicken fingers – this Louisiana import is all about finger-lickin' good, one-love chicken perfection.
Step into the vibrant chaos of Times Square and follow the intoxicating aroma of golden-fried goodness. The iconic Raising Cane's logo, a cartoon colonel sporting a jaunty cane, beckons you in. Inside, the energy is electric – music pumps, orders fly, and the staff rocks their "Caniac" spirit with infectious enthusiasm.
But the real star of the show is, of course, the food. Raising Cane's keeps it simple, focusing on just one thing and doing it spectacularly: chicken fingers. These aren't your average, limp, flavorless sticks. These are crisp-coated, juicy masterpieces, bursting with chickeny goodness in every bite. The secret lies in the never-frozen, marinated chicken, cooked fresh to order in 100% trans-fat-free peanut oil. Each finger is a symphony of textures – a shattering crust giving way to moist, tender meat, all singing with a subtle peppery kick.
And let's not forget the sides. The crinkle-cut fries, thick and fluffy with a satisfyingly salty edge, are the perfect foil to the chicken's savory richness. And then there's the Texas toast, buttery and slightly sweet, the ideal canvas for Cane's secret-recipe dipping sauce – a tangy, creamy concoction that's guaranteed to have you saying "Canes sauce, extra!"
Sure, there might be lines, and the Times Square location can get crowded. But trust me, a bite of Raising Cane's chicken finger magic is worth the wait. It's a taste of Southern hospitality in the heart of New York City, a reminder that sometimes, the simplest things done right are the most satisfying. So, ditch the fancy gastropubs and grab a box combo with extra crispy fries– you won't regret it.
The flagship raising canes is awesome. Very busy at basically all times, but service is still pretty good. They had a DJ in their during the day and it was pretty fun. The food is top notch as usual with canes and I enjoyed my experience. Would definitely come back, but would probably plan to order ahead.
